When Jennifer was in high school, she knew that college was not for her. She loved cosmetology, and she was eager to get started in the work world. After 5 years in a successful salon, Jennifer realized that she didn't love cosmetology enough to make it her career. She spent the next six years exploring many different job opportunities, picking up new skills and new friends along the way.
At age 29, she started a sales coordinator position for Givaudan, one of the largest fragrance houses in the US. Jennifer's curiosity about how fragrances were developed led her to take classes that supported her rise up the company ladder and eventually landed her a job as the Manager for Product and Fragrance Development for Bath & Body Works.
Come hear a fascinating story about how life and work experiences are similar to college when you live with curiosity, a willingness to explore, and the courage to take some chances.
