Carly Quisenberry has worked in some of the most remote places on earth, including Antarctica and the tiny Palmyra Atoll, which is 1,000 miles south of Hawaii and where less than 100 people have visited in the last 15 years.
She is now one of the 1000 women leaders in science participating in the Homeward Bound program, a groundbreaking global leadership and empowerment initiative for women in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine).
As the ONLY participant in her cohort of 100 who does not hold an advanced degree, Carly proves that hard work, positive energy, and networking through kindness can open just as many doors as diplomas. Hold on to your hats - Carly has an adventurous story filled with personal ups and downs, some hairy tales of shark bites and a genuine love for doing good for others and our earth.
