Breakin' it Down in the Box

Vicki Barbetta has never fit into a box. She knew that she was gay when she was 10 years old, but kept it to herself until she got to college. She continued to hide her sexual orientation when she wanted to join the military at the height of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. After 10 years in law enforcement, specializing in sex crimes, Vicki became a stay-at-home mom and as much as she loved her little guy, she felt like she had lost her way.  CrossFit saved her.

Come hear how Vicki's re-discovery of her passion for fitness opened her eyes to a new career, helped her make peace with body image issues, and gave her the mental strength to be the person she is today.
